Art in the Town gives children ages 6-12 the opportunity to experience an art education. Participants will paint, draw, sculpt, and explore different art mediums in an effort to enhance their artistic abilities.

This twelve-week program, now in its 19th year, is offered free of charge. Participants must be between the ages of 6-12, meet family income guidelines, and reside in Maine Township (or attend a Maine Township school) to qualify for participation in this program.

The next session will be held on Mondays at the Maine Township Town Hall from 9/18/23-12/11/23. There will be two separate sessions for younger and older participants. Ages 6-8 will meet from 4-4:50 pm and ages 9-12 will meet from 5-6 pm. We have only 20 spots available in each section.
