Art in the Town gives children ages 6-12 the opportunity to experience an art education. Participants will paint, draw, sculpt, and explore different art mediums in an effort to enhance their artistic abilities.

This 14-week program, now in its 20th year, meets on Mondays at the Maine Township Town Hall and is offered free of charge to Maine Township residents and for $30 to non-residents (space permitting). Participants must be between the ages of 6-12 and meet family income guidelines to qualify for participation in this program.

There are two separate sessions for younger and older participants. Ages 6-8 meet from 4-4:50 pm and ages 9-12 meet from 5-6 pm. Advance registration is required.

Court ordered child support paid out of childcare cost can be deducted from these income levels. Add $1,375 (monthly) or $16,500 (annually) for each person in household over 8 persons.
