Mindfulness Matters Yoga

Is your child looking for a fun way to relax and get away from the stressors of daily life? Yoga for children has been shown to improve mental wellbeing, help improve attention span, and reduce stress and anxiety. It can also help boost self-esteem, focus and concentration, and even improve peer relationships. We are partnering with Buddha Belly Kid’s Yoga to provide children ages 5-9 the opportunity to experience a yoga class taught by trained instructors dedicated to nurturing children’s innate desire for movement and play.

This four-week program is offered for a minimal cost of $10. Participants must be between the ages of 5-9, meet family income guidelines, and reside in Maine Township (or attend a Maine Township school) to qualify for participation in this program. Yoga mats will be provided.

The next session will be held at the Maine Township Town Hall on Tuesdays from 4:30-5:15 pm starting in spring 2024. To sign up, please register online using the link below. There are only 15 spots available in this program.
