Seeds of Friendship: Fostering Healthy Relationships Among Girls

The Seeds of Friendship group is about empowering young girls to cultivate strong, supportive relationships with their peers. This program provides a safe and nurturing environment where girls can learn, grow, and blossom together. Seeds of Friendship incorporates arts & crafts activities, games, and discussions that promote positive social interactions, empathy, communication skills, and conflict resolution!

  • Week 3: Identifying Healthy vs. Unhealthy Friendships
  • Week 4: Empathy and Understanding
  • Week 5: Effective Communication
  • Week 6: Resolving Conflicts
  • Week 7: Building Self-Confidence
  • Week 8: Celebrating Differences
  • Week 9: Acts of Kindness
  • Week 10: Reflection and Celebration
This 10-week program is held at the Maine Township Town Hall and is open to girls in grades 2-5. It is free for Maine Township residents and $20 for non-residents (space permitting). Advance registration is required.
