Due to the potential for severe weather on Saturday, September 19, Maine Township has made the difficult decision to cancel this year’s Community Garage Sale.
This decision was made to protect the safety of residents, attendees, vendors, volunteers, and staff. The current forecast indicates a strong chance of severe thunderstorms, heavy rain (2+ inches), and strong winds, creating significant safety, setup, and operational concerns for this outdoor event.
The Garage Sale will not be rescheduled this year.
The safety of vendors, visitors, and staff is our top priority. Maine Township apologizes for any inconvenience and appreciates the community’s understanding.
