The Children’s Advocacy Center of North and Northwest Cook County is a not-for-profit agency providing direct services for child victims of sexual abuse, severe physical abuse or other crimes and their non-offending family members. All services are free and offered in English or Spanish.
Services include:
- coordination of the multidisciplinary abuse investigation
- expert child-focused, trauma-informed interviews
- crisis intervention
- court preparation and advocacy
- on-going support and case management
- trauma-informed individual, family and group therapy services
- referrals for medical evaluations, counseling and other community-based services
