Maine Township Food Pantry Acknowledges Donation from Niles Post 3579

The Maine Township Food Pantry recently acknowledged a donation from Niles VFW Post 3579 Commander James McGrath at its most recent board meeting.

“This donation is part of our post’s ongoing effort to support local community organizations and the good works they do,” said Commander McGrath.

Township Trustees showed deep appreciation for the donation and noted that it comes at a particularly important time. “With the closing of nearby Catholic Charities pantry in Des Plaines, this donation will go a long way to serve the pantry’s mission,” Supervisor Dimond said.
