Neighborhood Watch

Interested in the happenings of our community and looking to take an active role in your community?

Look no further than the Maine Township Neighborhood Watch!

Neighborhood Watch brings residents together from around the Township with local government and law enforcement to help build community awareness, boost safety, and resolve issues.

Each meeting representatives from the Cook County Sheriff’s Office, the North Maine Fire Department, and the Maine Township Code Enforcement Office get together with members of the public to discuss these critical public safety issues and how to address them.

In addition, Maine Township Trustee Kim Jones, who serves as the liaison between The Neighborhood Watch Group, The Cook County Sheriff’s Department, and the Maine Township elected officials, is always in attendance to foster these important topics to the larger board if needed.

“These meetings are a collaborative and transparent way for residents to stay up-to-date on current events in Maine Township and a platform for their concerns,” Trustee Jones said. “I have enjoyed working with the residents on hyper-local issues and look forward to continuing in this effort in the future,” Jones said.
