MaineStreamers Holiday Luncheon: A Festive Celebration to Remember

The MaineStreamers recently celebrated their annual Holiday Luncheon on Thursday, December 18. The event brought together Maine Township residents ages 55 and older for an afternoon of good food, entertainment, and holiday cheer.

The celebration featured a three-course lunch complete with dessert. As always, the annual table raffle was a highlight of the day. Attendees enjoyed the excitement of the giveaways, which has become a favorite tradition at the event. There was plenty of laughter and friendly competition as people tried their luck at winning festive prizes.

Entertainment for the afternoon came from Diva Montell and Jeorge Holmes, who performed classic holiday favorites. Their performance had guests singing along and tapping their toes.

Joining the MaineStreamers was Supervisor Kimberly Jones, Clerk Pete Gialamas, Assessor Susan Moylan-Krey and Trustee Kelly Horvath.

The luncheon was another successful example of what MaineStreamers offers—opportunities for Maine Township seniors to socialize and enjoy activities together. MaineStreamers' mission is to enhance the quality of life for residents ages 55 and older by providing educational programs and recreational activities that encourage socialization, learning, independence, self-esteem, and dignity.

Membership in MaineStreamers is free and open to all Maine Township residents ages 55 and older. Members pay only for the activities they choose to participate in. To learn more about joining or to see upcoming events, visit their webpage or contact the MaineStreamers office at 224-257-4834.
