- Dress warm and wear non-slip shoes 🧥

- Never use your oven for heat. Never bring charcoal or gas grills indoors (they are a carbon monoxide hazard) 🔥
- Do not leave candles unsupervised 🕯
- Limit travel during severe weather/Keep a blanket in trunk 🚗
- Keep emergency contacts handy 📞
- Test Carbon Monoxide and smoke detectors 👁
- Use electric space heaters with extreme caution – avoid placing them near curtains or other flammable materials and turn them off and unplug before going to bed. 🔌
- Find a local warming center (public spaces/libraries/court houses/shelters) 🏛
- During extreme cold temperatures, leave faucets open with a slight drip and cabinet doors open to prevent pipes from freezing
