Maine Township Opens for 2026 Board of Review Appeals

Maine Township property owners may file a 2026 assessment appeal between August 31, 2026 and  September 23, 2026, at the Maine Township office. 

To ensure all appeals are submitted on time, the Township deadline has been established to allow the Maine Township Assessor's Office sufficient time to review and transmit appeal paperwork to the Cook County Board of Review before the September 29, 2026, county deadline.

Residents who would like assistance with filing an appeal may take advantage of the Township's free appeal service. Simply click the button below to download the 2026 Board of Review Appeal Intake Form, complete it, and return it by email to assessor@mainetown.com or drop it off at the Township office.

To ensure timely submission, all forms must be received no later than 4 p.m. on September 23, 2026.
